The smaller coil (shown centre) is the inner coil
which is wound and then encased in copper tube and
capped to form the inner heat exchanger compartment.
The tail is then wound back to form the outer heating
coil (far right and below)

continuous length with no internal joins to ensure
there are no leaks.
